Found a loop hole - I have an member who is currently an inpatient and had expensive surgery.  He is currently single, not working and has been a permanent resident for 1 year.  At the end of the application it gives him what I expect:  MA/Limited with HSN and HEALTH CONNECTOR -   Because we know the Connector Plan 1 has been eliminated. However, he did not have the numbers on the back of his permanent resident card so it was missing some information. I updated the application again to reflect the missing information.  I also said that I know you are not working right now, but what do you make in a year average.  He is like about $30,000.  So when the application asked  "Based on what you told us XXX is going to make $o.oo" (Based on no income.)  I said No, he is going to make approx. $30,000.   This time when I hit submit on the application it gave him:  MA/Limited with HSN and Connector Care Plan type 2 !!   and he can enroll in a plan for February. I know this does not apply to everyone because some members will not truly work.  However, I was floored that we found that loop hole.  He didn't take the insurance because he truly can't afford it because he isn't working.  But I wonder how many members will have this happen and will it look on their taxes for 2026.
