The processing of verifications for applicants/members under the age of 65 appears to have ground to a halt. Outside of having called the MEC to have a verification manually processed, I haven’t seen any type of non-privacy related verification document submitted after 10/29/2018 be processed. When a new paper Masshealth application is faxed for processing do the benefits start from when the application was received or do they back date it 10 days? So if I fax an application on 10/31/18 and the patient receives Careplus do benefits start on 10/31/18 or 10/21/18? Thank you
